Who doesn’t love Legos? This PreK-5th Grade children’s program is ideally suited to teach creativity, critical thinking and dexterity. Each Lego Club program is planned to incorporate children’s literature and math concepts, as well as a lot of fun open-ended play. Legos are provided, bring your creativity. Please check the Calendar for this month’s Lego Activity.
- Game On!: Every 2nd Tuesday at 4:30PM – During the School Year
In our modern “wired” age, kids miss out on good old-fashioned card and board games. Which is a shame, these games help improve critical thinking skills, reinforce math concepts and literacy, and unlike computer games are great for developing social skills and friendships! Homeschool groups and families are welcome. Please invite friends, the more players we have the more fun! Games include Apples to Apples, Banana Grams, Battleship, Bingo, Checkers, Connect Four, Go Fish, In a Pickle, Memory, Puzzles, Scrabble, StoryCubes, Yahtzee and many more.
Check our calendar for more information about these programs, as well as special events being planned, including Summer Reading Program, Homework Help and American Girl Parties.
